Downloading
Files - Microsoft Internet Explorer
Adobe Acrobat PDFs
There are two ways to download a PDF
file in Microsoft Internet Explorer:
One: Downloading using the Adobe
Acrobat Viewer
Left clicking on the manual download
link will launch Adobe Acrobat Viewer and the PDF
file will open in your browser. At this point, the
PDF file can be read, but it has not been downloaded
to your computer.
 |
To download
the PDF file, click the Disk icon in the Adobe
toolbar. This will open the standard "Save
As..." window, then you can choose a location
to save the file. After it is saved, you can
go to "file" and "print"
to print it.
Note: Do not use the
File menu in the Internet Explorer
toolbar. This will save the PDF file in the
wrong file format and cause an error whenever
you open the file. |
Two: Right Clicking on the manual
download link
Right-clicking on the manual download
link will open this menu:

With the pop-up menu open, click on
"Save Target As...". The "Save As..." window will
open, at which time you can choose a location to save
the file.

Other Files
Images and other files can be saved
to your local hard drive by right-clicking on the
link and selecting "Save Target As...". This opens
the "Save As..." window.
