The Pitons of Beautiful St. Lucia In the mountainous region of St. Lucia, the highlight of the day was the viewing of the majestic Pitons. Looming 2,400 and 2,600 feet high, these attractions are quite a sight. Many locals make it a goal to climb the Pitons during their lifetime. Viewing them during our drive from many vistas around the country provided a real opportunity to see them in different light and shadow. The natives fondly refer to them as Dolly Parton.
