In the Cardroom Games
regularly spread included $1-$5 seven-card stud, $2-$4, $4-$8, $10-$20,
and $20-$40 limit hold'em, $4-$8 and $10-$20 Omaha 8/B, and $20-$40
HOE, or HO, or OE. Oftentimes, one of the Omaha games was of the
five card version. Generally the Omaha was played with a 1/2 kill
and the action in all the games was great. Linda Johnson taught
the beginners how to play and a wild but friendly $1-$2 hold'em
game became a regular fixture too. These beginner games are protected
by Card Player Cruises. No one who did not attend the lessons or
who had not played much before is allowed to play in the novice
game. This game also does not allow check and raise. Photo © 2001, Jan Fisher |
