View of the Harbor

From the beautiful vista overlooking the harbor in St. John, many cruise ships are spotted "parking" for the day. The Disney ship in the middle of the mega liners is totally dwarfed by the immense size of the others. It is no punk, either! It is about 65,000 tons. The ships on either side of it are in the 100,000 + ton class. The one on the left weighs in at a hefty 137,000 tons! Now that is a big ship. It might not work for a good poker cruise. Just imagine how long it would take you to get to the poker room when you wanted to play? Actually these liners are amazing beauties and have some wondrous amenities aboard. If they have the right spot for a great poker room, look for Card Player Cruises to sail on one in the near future.
