Card Player Cruises Mediterranean Cruise

Sorrento has always been a favorite of Card Player Cruises and our family of travelers. Last time we visited this picture-perfect spot, many of the shots we shared with our website viewers were of the Amalphi Coast. This time, our photos are of the neighboring Isle of Capri and the Blue Grotto. A short ferry ride across a beautiful water span, this delightful island awaits the adventurer in each of us. Whether you meander down the narrow and windy streets enjoying the shops and galleries or travel to the highest point, to ride the chair lift even higher, this will be a multi-film day in Anacapri. The Famed Blue Grotto may only be visited by small rowboat carrying merely three or four visitors at a time thru the small opening in the rock into an under-cave getaway. The sun's rays light the grotto from an opening under the water and turns the cavern into the "Bluest Blue" you ever will see. It is one of Italy's best-known natural sights. Additionally, while you are in this lovely area, there is a funicular, jetfoil, and other cool things to ride. This would be a great stop for a week! This is truly one of the most beautiful places on the planet.
