On the day we are in Mazatlan, we always schedule a poker seminar and this cruise was no different. With such dignitaries onboard as authors, professional players, and WSOP bracelet winners and other championships, there was no shortage of speakers for this time. Also, with so many aspiring players and hobbyists, there was a standing room only crowd. Linda Johnson, Daniel Negreanu, Erik Seidel, Tom McEvoy, Phil Hellmuth, and Jan Fisher all shared with the crowd some of their best poker tips. Following that was a question and answer session. We had to finally throw them all out of the room or they never would have gotten to dinner. This is always a popular event on the Card Player Cruises trips. On another port day, Mark Tenner gave his infamous Omaha 8/B talk and it too was SRO!
