One Million Bucks!
PartyPoker Million - March 2002

Mike Sexton is happily announcing the inaugural PartyPoker Million tournament's first winner. Kathy Liebert happily accepts the winner's check for a cool million bucks. This was the largest first prize for any limit hold'em event to date. Mike is no stranger to tournament poker himself, as most of you know. He has a WSOP bracelet and also holds a European Championship trophy. Sexton tirelessly promoted this event from day one and we at Card Player Cruises were happy to have Mike and the PartyPoker.com folks as our partners on this run away winner. The PPM2 is already planned with the finals aboard a Caribbean cruise in March of 2003. Qualification begins on April 1 and you can see all of the details for it on the partypoker.com web site.
