Horse Races On most Carnival cruises horse races are held. Now, I can't really explain to you here how there could be a horse race on a ship, but there is, there really is! Cruise guests Judy Ragland and Jan Jurgenson each "bought" and dressed up this "horse" and entered him in the races. Some of our poker cruisers bought pieces of him to earn some of the potential payoff if he won. Well, the dice were lucky for this horse and he won several races. I am told that he paid somewhere in the neighborhood of 7-to-1!
