Mexican Riviera Poker Cruise Gallery 1 | Gallery 2 | Gallery 3 Several hundred poker players cruised to the Mexican Riviera November 26 - December 3. The Elation was chosen as the vessel to house our trip. We could not have asked for better weather in our port stops of Puerto Vallarta, Mazatlan, and Cabo San Lucas. By the time the cruise was over, players had met many new friends and vowed to return for another Card Player Cruises poker vacation. Our first stop on the trip was at beautiful Puerto Vallarta. This area became famous many years ago when John Houston and Elizabeth Taylor enjoyed a headline-earning romance during the filming of The Night of the Iguana. Some of the activities offered were a catamaran trip to Los Arcos (exclusively for the Card Player Cruises group), lunch at Chico's Paradise, shopping, and horseback riding on the beach.
