Welcome to Card Player Cruises!
Card Player Cruises is the #1 Poker Cruise company in the world.
From the most professional poker room on the high seas to the most exciting shore excursions and activities, Card Player Cruises offers it all!
Easy to Book!
Working with one of our experienced agents on the phone makes the booking process simple and convenient. Whether you're a frequent cruiser or a first-time passenger, selecting the perfect cabin at the best price available will only take minutes. Once you've completed your booking, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about the sailing, a copy of the poker room schedule, as well as the necessary links you'll need to get checked in online and customize your trip.
That's when the fun really starts! With just a click, you can reserve a special night in one of the amazing specialty restaurants on board or perhaps book a relaxing massage in the onboard Spa. The final step of the online check-in process is to print your boarding passes and luggage tags to make the boarding process a breeze.
When you arrive at the cruise terminal, simply drop your luggage off with one of the porters and it will be delivered directly to your cabin door. Next proceed to the check-in area and simply present your passport and your boarding pass to receive your stateroom key.
Time to Board the SHIP!
Once onboard, you will pick up your badge in the poker room and meet or reacquaint yourself with some of the Card Player Cruises staff. The first official event of the voyage is the Welcome Aboard Party where complimentary alcohol is served. This is a great time to meet the poker room staff and other poker passengers, and learn about the exciting events happening throughout your vacation.
Time to Eat!
Dinner in the Main Dining room is served after the welcome aboard party, usually starting between 5:30 and 6 p.m. The first night is when you can choose your table in the dining room and get to know the crew who will be serving you for the duration of the cruise.
Lets Play Poker!
The Poker room opens after dinner on the first night. On most cruises, the poker room will open at 9am on sea days and will stay open until first dinner seating. The room opens again after dinner and stays open into the wee hours of the morning! Hours vary on port days.
Cash games will be available when the poker room is open. On domestic cruises, the tournament schedule usually includes two or more tournaments on sea days and at least one tournament on port days (unless the ship departs late in the evening).
The standard games offered are $1-$3 and $2-$5 no-limit (occasionally higher), $4-$8 and $10-$20 Omaha/8 (occasionally higher), $2-$4 and $4-$8 limit hold’em (occasionally higher). We will spread any game there is enough demand for and an exciting mixed game is often offered.
Time To Explore!
One of the best parts about cruising is stopping in different exotic destinations and exploring the local hot spots. Whether you want to drink a beer while eating authentic cuisine at a beautiful beach in Mexico, explore the Sloth sanctuary in Roatan, sail on a catamaran through the clear waters of the Bahamas, or spend the day in an exclusive resort soaking up the sun and being pampered from head to toe, port days are a chance to really indulge in the vacation element of cruise ship travel.
After a day of exploration, we return to the ship for the departure and after the first seating dinner we will open the card room back up for the evening/night's Poker action.
Sad to Say Goodbye but Looking forward to the Next One!
On the last day of the sailing, there is a farewell party. This is a bitter sweet event because it's always hard to say goodbye to the great friends you have made over the course of the trip, but we keep it fun and lighthearted. Not only is it a chance to unwind and grab a drink with friends, it's a chance to laugh hysterically as we go over some memorable events from the week, give away prizes, and invite guests up to talk about their experiences. The parties have been a very significant feature on our cruises for the past 25 years and are part of what keeps people sailing with us year after year. The friends you make on a cruise ship will become some of your best friends in life and every time one sailing ends, you will be eager to experience it all over again.
There will be an information desk in the poker room containing brochures for all of our upcoming scheduled cruises. Our on board representative has real time communication with the office in Las Vegas and can get you the latest information on cabin deals and availability, and even book your next cruise for you. This is a great opportunity to speak to someone face-to-face and provide input about where you'd like to go and what you'd like to do. We are always interested in the feedback of our guests… this is what makes Card Player Cruises the best poker cruise company in the world!
Sign up today and join the Card Player Cruises family. We look forward to sailing away with you!
