Highlights of the tour include:

A close up visit with Alaskan bears at a sanctuary where they are rescued and raised in a natural setting. You will be able to watch them play, eat, and “ham it up” for visitors.

A drive through Sitka and its stunning harbor and fishing fleet as your learn about Japonski Island’s World War II history.

A visit to the totem poles at the Sitka National Historical Park.

A visit to see the salmon run.

Time permitting, we will stop at the raptor center where you will see eagles and other bird species being nursed back to health.
