Omaha 8/B Tournament Winner Mike Sprando Mike Sprando sits in front of the chips he won during the last hand of the Omaha 8/b event. He outlasted a field of 26 players and took home the lion's share of the $2600 prize pool. Rounding out the money finishers were 2) Valerie Steinsmith 3)4) tied Bob Bauer and Richard Libert. Although the fields for the two events were small, the players played with an intensity that rivaled many events with larger purses. The players are all to be commended and as is usual at the Card Player Cruises poker games, there were no penalties given. The trend continues.
