Mel Judah, Seat 3
PartyPoker Million Final Table - March 2002

Mel Judah is a well-known tournament specialist from Australia. Mel has been on the International poker tournament circuit longer than we can remember. He bought in to the tournament for $8,000 and made the final table with $23,000 in chips. This was the second smallest stack and he knew he needed to make a hand quickly. Unfortunately for Mel, the first hand of the final table he picked up pocket sixes and went broke on them. It was clear that he was not playing for anything other than first place. Mel has a nice family with his wife Patricia, and children Mark, 24, and Tana, 21. His favorite places to play poker are Los Angeles and Russia. He has two World Series of Poker bracelets, both in seven-card stud. The most money Mel has ever won in poker was in 1997 when he finished in third place in the Championship event at the WSOP to Stu Unger and he took home $370,000. When asked his thoughts about the PartyPoker Million he said "This is something very different from the normal poker tournament and is very exciting for more people to come into poker."
