Berj Kacherian, Seat 9
PartyPoker Million Final Table - March 2002

Berj Kacherian is a 33 year-old database analyst for Oracle. After his runner-up finish I overheard something about him quitting, but you never know. He qualified online and catapulted the $22 investment into quite a good week's paycheck after all of the dealing and deals were through. Berj started the final table with $187,000. He has played poker for ten years and plays mostly at the Commerce in Los Angeles where he resides with his wife, Loni. He has never won a tournament and has really not played any to speak of. It was quite a week for this low-key gentleman rookie. When asked about his experience at the PartyPoker Million he said "it was a real thrill to play with the players I read about in Card Player magazine. I can't wait until next year"!
