Scuba in Bonaire

We had always heard that scuba diving in Bonaire was as good as it gets. We had heard correctly. From left, Bill Cole, Troy Iverson, yours truly Jan Fisher, Tom Taylor, with dive master Rupert in the background, were getting ready for that first dive. We enjoyed the first dive so very much and each of us agreed that it was the best dive we ever had been on. Then something very strange happened: we went on the second dive and it was even better! Everything that is said about diving in these beautiful waters is true and it is as good as if gets. One reason it is so fabulous is that they have very strict rules about not touching things on the reefs and they disallow the use of gloves for divers to help to keep them from touching the living coral reefs. Those who missed the waters here missed a special memory. I urge anyone who has thought of becoming a certified diver to go out and do it!
