Run Good Gear and Cardplayer Cruises have partnered to bring you RGPS ROAD TO OPEN WATER. It’s a series of tournaments offering the RGPS Global Championship Cruise as a prize. The Championship event will be held at sea during the Card Player Cruises - 7 Night Western Caribbean Cruise on the Liberty of the Seas - R/T Galveston on May 13th 2018.

Our venue is a traveling one and this time, we’re headed to the Western Caribbean. Visit ancient Mayan ruins, explore a rain forest, lounge on a tropical beach, snorkle, pet a stingray, and witness the beautiful and unique Georgetown architecture.

All Aboard: Galveston, TX

Galveston is an island city on the Gulf of Mexico.  It has everything from museums to amusement park rides.  Spend some time on the boardwalk and enjoy the beach, restaurants, rides and shopping.

Come and spend time with us in the poker room. Our poker room is open all day when the ship is out to sea and in the evenings after the ship has left port. See our schedule for hours and special events.
Day 3
Port: Cozumel, MX

Part of the attraction of Cozumel is it's many ancient Mayan ruins. There are 24 different sites known so far. Visitors will also be pleased by Cozumel's many tropical beaches ranging from family beaches to the unspoiled and exotic. Home to many indigenous species of wildlife, visitors will find themselves enchanted by the nearby Faro Celerian Eco Park. Diving, paddle boarding, snorkeling, sightseeing and a host of other activities are also offered.

One of the most popular stops in the Caribbean, Georgetown is the capital and sweet spot of the Cayman Islands. White sand beaches, crystal blue waters and dreamy tropical weather await travelers looking for a day's getaway. If you love snorkeling, you will find that Georgetown is ringed with shipwrecks, coral reefs and the famous stingray city where guests can interact with these gentle and sweet creatures. During your stay, take time to visit the duty-free shops, cafes and restaurants.

Now it's a historic, vibrant cultural center where guests can enjoy beautiful Georgian architecture, steel drum music, rum, jerked chicken, shopping and much more. Enjoy guided tours of waterfalls, jungles and historic districts. Travelers can also spend time on the beautiful Jamaican white sand beaches. Clear blue waters and soft sands will bring a sense of peace and joy to all that spend time there.

Have a great time in Galveston.  One of the biggest attractions in Galveston is Moody Gardens.  At Moody Gardens, there are three giant glass pyramids that house different exhibits including a tropical rain forest and aquarium.  Also in Galveston, you can visit World War II museums, that include a battleship and submarine.

Poker Room

Card Player Cruises proudly features a professional, fully staffed, non-smoking poker room. The poker room is usually open for play immediately after the first-seating dinner on your departure day. The poker room remains open throughout most of the cruise except when the ship is in port. Free beginner lessons for novices are offered, followed by a low limit hold’em game for beginners only.

The Card Player Cruises staff will be happy to spread any game and limit that enough players want to play. A general guideline regarding the games and limits on most cruises is as follows:

Limit hold’em: $2/$4 – $4-$8 and higher upon request No–limit hold’em: $1/3, $2/5, and higher upon request Omaha/8: $4/8 and often higher ($10/20 on up). Mixed games: Mixed games upon request Tournaments will be announced.
